Attorney Jeremy Hayes has been a trial lawyer in Georgia since 2007. He has tried numerous cases in Georgia’s Superior and State Courts and has argued more than a dozen appeals before the Georgia Court of Appeals and Supreme Court.
Mr. Hayes earned his bachelor’s degree summa cum laude from Georgia State University in 2004 and his law degree cum laude from the Georgia State University College of Law in 2007.
He is admitted to practice in all Georgia courts including the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Georgia Supreme Court, as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
Mr. Hayes began his career as an assistant district attorney where he prosecuted serious felonies including RICO, theft, fraud, arson, and armed robbery. He and his wife are former small business owners who understand the many legal, practical, and financial concerns faced by small businesses.
Mr. Hayes currently advises businesses of all sizes on a variety of legal matters including formation, contracts, partnership disputes, shareholder disputes, and many other issues. He has worked with Homeowners Associations on various legal issues including enforcing covenants and collecting dues.
He has also represented a wide variety of companies, professionals, and individuals in civil litigation involving property disputes, professional liability, real estate transactions, construction disputes, breach of contract, unfair and deceptive trade practices, and other claims.
Mr. Hayes has been recognized by The American Association of Attorneys as a Premiere DUI Attorney, The National Trial Lawyers as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Georgia, and one of the Top 40 Under 40. He is a member of the Forsyth County Bar Association and resides in Cumming, Georgia.
